Jennifer Anderson, Designer [Freelance]
Jenn Anderson is an award-winning graphic designer and art director
with a strong background in the retail, insurance and financial
industries. She has freelanced for a decade. Among her clients
have been Cheney & Company, The Body Shop,
Dean & Deluca,
Connecticare, Yale Law School and Yale School of Management. Her
work as principal of ADesign has been recognized by the Connecticut
Art Directors Club, including two silver awards, and Print’s
Regional Design Annual in 1998 and 2000.
Previously, Jenn worked as senior designer with Bob Newman for
five years at Newman Design Associates in Guilford, CT. There she
designed and produced annual reports and corporate communications
for high-profile financial services clients including Anchor Bancorp,
Inc., National Reinsurance, American Express and New York Telephone.
She was instrumental in developing a complete branding and merchandising
program for Early Learning Centre stores in the U.S.
Jenn began her career as an advertising copywriter at Griffin:Thomas
Marketing Communications and makes extensive use of the synergy
of word and image in her work. She also worked as art director
at Muir Advertising and Public Relations, where she developed advertising
campaigns for print, radio and television.
She has served as vice president and director of Connecticut Art
Directors Club and had the honor of designing CADC’s award
show collateral in 2003. Jenn is a certified Jazzercise instructor
and enjoys eBay, decorating, and her cats, Samurai and Phoebe.
She is also an avid Egyptophile. She received her BA from Vassar
College and pursued graphic design studies at the School of Visual
Arts and Fairfield University.
