Beth Levine, Writer [Freelance]
Beth Levine is a veteran freelance writer with more than 20 years
of experience in the nonprofit, health and corporate sectors.
Beth has worked with the communications departments of Albert
Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, NY; Deloitte Touche, Stamford,
CT; March of Dimes, White Plains, NY; Stamford Heath Systems, CT;
the Wellness Health Education Network, Stamford, CT; and Stamford
Mayor Dannell Malloy. She has written press materials for Carol
Fass Public Relations, New York, NY; and advertorials for New York
Magazine.
Her many articles on health, parenting and marriage have appeared
in The Chicago Tribune, Family Circle, Good
Housekeeping, Ladies’ Home
Journal, The New York Times, Reader’s Digest, Redbook, Self,
Woman’s Day, and others. She has a monthly humor column in
the South African magazine Edgar’s Club, and is the author
of Divorce: Young People Caught in the Middle (Enslow Publishers)
and co-author of Playgroups: From 18 Months
to Kindergarten—A
Complete Guide for Parents (Pocket Books). Her essays have been
published in Blindsided by a Diaper, edited by Dana Hilmer (Three
Rivers Press/Random House) and Doing Good
for Goodness’ Sake,
edited Steve Zikman (Inner Ocean Publishing). Blindsided
by a Diaper is currently being developed into a musical.
When she’s not
writing, Beth keeps her wordsmith skills sharp with crossword puzzles
and reading. She is also a fan of musical theater.
