Background A
doubly exciting moment in the life of a school is its hundredth
birthday and the launch of a ¥3 billion capital campaign
to assure the future of the institution.
Project
brief Cheney & Company
worked with ASIJ to craft a
campaign brand and case statement brochure for a very diverse audience spread
across the globe. Photographed by a distinguished member of the faculty, the
book was written and designed by Cheney & Company. The classic aspect ratio
of Japanese tatami mats served as inspiration for the page grids. Evocative
imagery from the schools past dovetailed with scenes and stories from
the school today to make the case for this Tokyo schools future goals.
